Great sessions begin where you are comfortable. For some, we've found their backyard or garden was perfect. For others, the beach or local parks have been favorites.

I am also available for on-location, indoor studio settings if you prefer. When you first call to set up your appointment I'll ask you what your goal is for the images and we can develop a plan for your individual session

Suggestions:

In general, solid color clothing works best for both black and white and color portraits. It is also much more pleasing to the eye to see a group of people who have dressed in similar colors or tones to help coordinate the portrait. Darker colors work better than white for outdoor portraits.  As we discuss your plan, we'll consider clothing along with the setting you prefer.
